Track, Trail and Fell race action

We had three of our athletes in the Haldon Forest Flyer on Saturday
The race is over almost 5 miles of forest tracks, paths and fire roads in Haldon Forest Park, near Exeter.

Results as follows

Dave Engledew 39.16
Alison Engledew 44.35 (1st FV60)
Carol Hansen 55.14

The Pralls tackled the Cosdon Fell Race on Saturday afternoon.

It was pretty hot, but Chris did well finishing 2^nd and 1^st V40. Becky was 9^th female and 3^rd FV40.

In the junior race, Esme was 2^nd in her FU12 category

We didn’t have any runners in the Mag 7 held on Sunday which was part of the Armada Grand Prix

On the Sunday Ben Bristow was our only EVH member in the Armada team
Ben did the Shot,Javelin and the 1500m in 4.54.32

Training Update

The weather does seem to have got warm again but not to the levels of the recent heatwave
Tonight’s training session is the July Handicap plus other routes

Club Championships update fro June now added

Thursday’s junior training is as normal but we are running another Funetics event for U10 and U12.

The Devon Open is on at Tavistock this Sunday why not give the track a go.

EVH Relays a great success

It was a great Erme Valley Relays on Friday 26th June held in ideal conditions.
Both the male and female fastest leg times were records and so was the men’s team time
Congratulations to Erme Valley Harriers men’s team who set the record and to
Will Battershill and Annabel Arnold on their record leg times

Armada 3K & Westward League Cross Country

Pictured above are our athletes who did seven events in the Armada Grand Prix receiving their T-shirts after the Armada 3K last Wednesday.

The club results from the December race were as follows

On Saturday three members of club ran in the Race the Tide (Dark) race at Holbeton
The race is billed as a 8.5 run through the Flete estate.

On Sunday Phil Adderley completed his busy weekend (he did the Plym Valley Parkrun as well) by completing the Haldon 10K in 60.11

We had just a few runners who went to the Westward League at a very windy and wet Westward Ho!
We had just two seniors and a few juniors taking part. Our U11’s did well again.
