In line with the Government decision to implement a lockdown due to the Coronavirus situation Erme Valley Harriers will be ceasing any group training (Senior or Junior) from 00.01am on Thursday. The restrictions will stay in place until at least Wed Dec 2nd. We hope to be able to resume after that date, but we will advise everyone a week or so before.
We can hold junior training tonight as usual at the Rugby Club 6pm Please ensure that you follow all the guidelines on social distancing and do not gather in groups of more than 6 before or after the run.
This means that the return to ICC this Thursday and the proposed new Friday sessions at the Tennis Centre will have to be put on hold until after Dec 2nd. It also means that all events are suspended so the meetings at Tavistock (11th Nov) and North Devon (22nd Nov ) will be cancelled.
It is still hoped that the Devon Cross Country Championships will take place on Sunday 6th so it is important to keep training. If anyone needs any help and advice please get in touch.
We will keep everyone informed of what is happening during the lockdown.
Can I thank everyone for their patience in what I am sure you agree has been a difficult period for the club.
Please get in touch if you need further details and keep an eye on the website.
Tuesday endurance sessions are taking place at the Rugby Club from 6 – 7. Again please email me if you wish to come along.
We are now able to utilize the Armada session on a Saturday morning from 10 – 12 at the newly refurbished Brickfields track starting this Saturday.
There is no charge but you will have to book via this system https://bookwhen.com/copac
