Devon Sportshall League
The league takes place each winter from October to March with fixtures at the Plymouth Life Centre.
Congratulations to Erme Valley Harriers who were crowned champions once again in 2025/26
The season will be returning in October 2025. Details will follow
There have been cost increases so we no longer award medals specifically for the County Champions however these will form part of the end of season awards.
Regional selections will be based on the entire season performances
DEVON SPORTSHALL LEAGUE FIXTURES 2026/27
ALL FIXTURES AT PLYMOUTH LIFE CENTRE.
We now have the age groups confirmed by UK Sportshall for the new season.
U10s - athletes aged 8 and 9 on 31st August 2027 (school years 3 & 4). Minimum age 8.
U12s - athletes aged 10 and 11 on 31st August 2027 (school years 5 & 6).
U14s - athletes aged 12 and 13 on 31st August 2027 (school years 7 & 8).
U16s - athletes aged 14 and 15 on 31st August 2027 (school years 9 & 10).
Our agreed dates are as follows
18th October, 29th November, 24th January, 21st February, and Saturday 20th March.
The other good news is that the Regional event is back in Torbay on Sunday 14th March.
We are finalising provisional timetable.
We have put in the U16 age group and it is hoped we can get more athletes to take part in general this season.
It is an ideal environment for club athletes who are not cross country runners and do not travel to indoor venues.
They can maintain their competition edge throughout the winter.
