In line with the Government decision to implement a lockdown due to the Coronovirus situation Erme Valley Harriers will be ceasing any group training (Senior or Junior) from 00.01am on Thursday. The restrictions will stay in place until at least Wed Dec 2nd. We hope to be able to resume after that date, but we will advise everyone a week or so before.

We can train tonight as usual at the Rugby Club and it is the first of the Winter Handicap series. Please ensure that you follow all the guidelines on social distancing and do not gather in groups of more than 6 before or after the run. We have decided to move the December Handicap to Tues 8th which will hopefully be our first Tuesday back after lockdown.

We realise some of you may not feel comfortable with attending tonight, so you can always run the handicap virtually and submit you time virtually. For info the routes we were due to run up to Christmas (should you want to run them in your own time) are still shown here >>>.

We now have a QR code for our training venues so you can check in using the new NHS app.

We will still maintain a paper register so don’t forget to check in.

Please remember the rules on social distancing at sessions before and after the runs. Please make sure you do not congregate in groups of more than 6 at any time and especially near the entrance to the Rugby Club car park. There is also a risk of an accident here with cars coming into the car park. Please ensure you follow the government guidelines on hygiene and of course the 2m rule still applies. If we all follow this then we can do our bit to stop the spread of the virus.
