Cockington Caper

Pictured above are some of the EVH athletes who tacked the off road Cockington Caper on Saturday. The race is over 7.5 miles of grass,mud and hills. Some even did the Torbay Park run as a warm up.

On Sunday Liam Hallows took part in the 3000m race at the Cardiff Christmas Classic
he ran a seasons best of 10.11.82

Alison Engledew went to Telford to run in the 10K there which was a qualifier for England Masters spots. She ran a season’s best time of 46.26 but could only manage 4th in the female 60 category just missing out on selection.

Away Day run this Friday (13th Dec). Meeting on Plymouth Hoe sea front near Pier One, 135 Hoe Road PL1 3DE. Free Parking in this area after 6.00pm. A good chance to view the City Centre Christmas lights. Ready to run at 6.05pm. Please note there will be no run from the Rugby Club that evening.

The next Westward League Cross Country  fixture is on this  Sunday 15th December in Westward Ho!

Please note our 10K will now take place on Saturday 2nd May not the usual week (9th). This is because the 8th is the VE Bank holiday and the Rugby Club have a tournament on that weekend. Entries will be open soon but save the date.
