Our athletes were busy this past weekend and we had runners in Looe, on Dartmoor and at the National Cross Country in Nottingham
We had six runners in the Loo 10 miler on Saturday. Results as follows.

We had four runners in the Hambledown Hammet Half Marathon on Sunday which is held over the moor.
Chris Prall was 5th overall in 1.53.59, Dave Church was 82nd in 2.28.28, Patrick Wakeley 87th in 2.30.51 and Neil Moffatt 100th in 2.34.13
Becky Prall was 34th in the shorted 7 mile events in a time of 1.29.25
New member Ian Mant took part in the National Cross Country Championships in Nottingham. Ian finished 1032nd from a field of 1710) He recorded a time of 63.05 for the 12km in very tough conditions.
Finally our juniors were in action in the penultimate Devon Sportshall event in Plymouth. We had 29 athletes there who did really well.
We now have a impressive lead of nearly 200 points going in to the final fixture at Dawlish on 1th March. The club results are shown here >>>
The final Westward league Cross Country takes place next Sunday 1st March at Stover School near N Abbott.
