Another very busy weekend for our athletes both seniors and juniors. The seniors were competing on the roads whilst the juniors were in action on the country and in the sportshall
We had nine athletes taking part in the Tavi 13 half marathon race. It is quite a hilly race so time were not super fast. Kevin Paull and Dave Church are pictured above.
Andy Perry was our first runner home in 8th place. Cleo Perry was 2nd overall lady and 1st female Vet 40 and Sarah Hirons was 3rd female and 2nd female vet 35. We also won the mes team prize.

New member Victoria Brown recorded a time in 1.53.10 in the Brentwood Half Marathon.
Rebecca Lee was our sole representative in the Mad March hare 10K in Plymouth. She recorded a time of 50.06 which was good for a hilly course.
We had three juniors representing Devon Schools in the ESAA Championships at Norwich.
In the Senior Girls Emily Oakshott finished a creditable 237th place whilst in the Senior Boys Joe Battershill had a great run to finish in 140th place just 15 places in front of Nathan Brown.
Finally we had the final Devon Sportshall league fixture at Dawlish. As expected the team finished overall runners up behind Plymouth and won 23 individual medals plus one relay gold and we also won the U10 boys title and finished second in the U10G, U13G, U13B and U15B. Well done to all our juniors who have competed this season and of course a huge thank you to Sharon who has worked tirelessly as our team manager once again.
