FEBRUARY 2018 TRAINING ROUTES
Winter Handicap. (Why not take the opportunity to chart your progress over the summer months on a timed route. With the chance of winning £100 for a Charity of you choice. Held on the first Tuesday of every month.
Tues 6th February - Winter handicap
Tues 13th February -. Winter Route (Paced groups)
Tues 20th February – Tempo Run (St Peters Way, Gorse Way & Wollacombe)
Tues 27rd February – Winter Route (Paced groups)

Please add reminder that we are moving March Winter Handicap back by a week to 13th March.
Routes will be as follows
Tues. 6th March. Speed Endurance Railway Station Car Park.
Tues 13th March – Winter handicap (note change of date)
Tues. 20th. March. Winter Route (Paced groups)
Tues. 27th. To be discussed as clocks alter on Sunday 25th
Please ensure you wear something light or preferably fluorescent.
Friday runs at 6pm will now start to be set around the village at a more social pace
Wednesdays 5:30 – 6:30pm from Community Sport Reception at
Ivybridge Community College. (Couch to 5K group)
There are mini groups based on ability, suitable for range of runners from complete
novices to those who have already done some running. Everyone welcome. Why not come along and enjoy running with friendly, like minded people. This is now an official Run Together group
We also have a Monday morning session at 9.30am on Mondays from the Leisure Centre
No cost to take part and all abilities welcome.
- Under 11s – Thursdays from 5.45- 7pm at Ivybridge Community College
(note minimum age is 8 years old)
- Over 11s – Thursdays from 7 – 8pm at Ivybridge Community CollegeJuniors also train on a Tuesday at the Rugby Club 6pm. This is an endurance based session.supervised by our coaches.
During the summer months these sessions consist of Track & Field training.
In the winter we move inside for Sportshall training, sprints & endurance
training is available for the Over 11s.
All training sessions are supervised by qualified UK:Athletics coaches.
Anyone is welcome to attend club training sessions, regardless or quality
or experience. If you are interested in joining the club then come along to a few
training sessions to find out some more information before you join.
